‘Woopty doo’ for Woopid

Published by under weekly web wonders and tagged: ,

According to the urban dictionary ‘woopty doo’ means ‘An intense sarcastic reply to an idiotic exclamatory statement’ But what is Woopid?

Is a free website that contains lots of tutorial videos on how to use different software or programmes. It has hundreds of videos which are linked to resources for teachers etc or for students to try to help new software.

You may now ask well why not use Youtube for this as there will be many more videos on there and it will be easier to access?

Well the main advantage that Woopid has over YouTube is that the videos here have been checked and are of a certain standard, they also have additional links which may be helpful. It looks like it is still early days and more content is appearing but it is a site definitely worth knowing about.
