Why did the Chickenman cross the road?

This week saltash.net was visited by 10 Australian Headteachers and teachers from Victoria after they were recommended by Professor Stephen Heppell to come and visit our school as part of a study tour they were on across Europe. Saltash.net was only one of two schools that the Australians visited here in the UK. Their visit builds on some of the links the school has created with Stephen, in the summer term some of our students connected via Skype with Stephen at a conference to talk about how they were learning here at school. Stephen said “Thanks for that wonderful and "just right" input yesterday – and could you also thank the über confident and articulate students who we were extremely impressed with”

Our visitors experienced 21^st century learning, new curriculum models and learning with a rural dimension, they had the opportunity to observe lessons and talk to students and staff. We hope to continue links and develop some partnership and collaborative projects with them in the future.
